Ceylon is fresh, bright, and slightly floral tea. It brews to a light golden red and is enjoyed best on its own. This Ceylon is grown at higher elevations, from 3,000 to 4,000 feet.

Ceylon tea refers to tea grown on the island of Sri Lanka, which was known as Ceylon before independence in 1972. The Ceylon tea industry began in the mid-1800s, when a fungus wiped out the entirety of the island's coffee crops. Generally, Ceylon tea boasts a crisp aroma with hints of citrus, and is used in many blended teas. It is grown on numerous estates which vary in altitude and therefore taste. Our Ceylons are of the highest grades available.Save
